The bobcat (Lynx rufus) is believed to be increasing in numbers and expanding its distribution in Ohio. Join Dr. Shauna Weyrauch, a Senior Lecturer at The Ohio State University, as she discusses her bobcat research conducted in Coshocton County in 2015 during a long-term camera-trapping study.
Shauna Weyrauch is a Senior Lecturer in Evolution Ecology and Organismal Biology at The Ohio State University, where she earned her Ph.D. in EEO Biology.
This in-person program is part of our lifelong learning series, Empowered Minds. The focus of this signature service is healthy aging and enrichment for the retirement-age citizens of Licking County. All adults are welcome and registration is free. Empowered Minds is supported by a sustaining gift from Robert Trimble Jr., a lifelong learner, and in part by the Licking County Senior Levy. Donations are appreciated.
